Tiler (Public Sector)

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an experienced Tiler who can join our team in Belfast for the Kitchen and bathroom renewal project within social housing sector. 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Belfast site.

Responsibilities

Carrying out tiling works within social housing properties
Carry out all duties in an efficient, courteous manner with due respect to any special circumstances or needs of tenants affected
Always present a positive, can-do attitude
marking out an area to estimate the number of tiles and adhesive needed
cutting tiles to size and shape with hand-cutters or bench-mounted tools
preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
fixing the tiles and applying grout before finishing off

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Must have sound knowledge of construction industry
- Must be able to work independently
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in the Workplace
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping a must
- C.S.R. Card
- Experience in a similar role is desirable
- Access NI Required
Remuneration
c£24,622 per annum, plus discount benefits.
