Location: Northern Ireland (Hybrid)
Salary: 47k plus allowance


About the Role:


We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technical Security Manager to join our Public Sector Clients Cloud, Security & Infrastructure (CSI) Team. Reporting directly to the CSI Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the technical security of our ICT environment.
Your key responsibility will be managing the technical aspects of our ISO 27001-certified Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring a robust and risk-managed environment. The role involves conducting technical assessments, managing security incidents, and producing comprehensive reports to uphold our high security standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the technical security of the ICT environment.
  • Oversee the technical elements of the ISO 27001-certified ISMS, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct detailed technical assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Lead security incident management processes, including investigation, resolution, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the CSI Manager and other teams to implement effective security controls and improvements.
  • Provide expert advice on technical security matters and contribute to the organisation's risk management strategy.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical security management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and risk management practices.
  • Expertise in conducting technical security assessments and incident management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
  • Experience in managing technical security within a cloud-based environment.
  • Lead the way in securing our ICT environment while driving continuous improvement in technical security practices.
