VANRATH are recruiting a Sprayer to work for an established Fit-out company in Northern Ireland
Remuneration:
£Competitive DOE
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 1pm

They have a great opportunity for a Sprayer to join them on a permanent basis, initially working on projects in Carrickfergus. The Sprayer will report to the Production Manager

Responsibilities:
- Providing a high-quality finish to jobs, on time and in line with job specifications and customer requirements
- Matches and shades furniture finishes
- Remove accessories prior to finishing, and mask areas that should not be exposed to finishing processes or substances
- Remove excess solvent, using cloths soaked in paint thinner
- Select appropriate finishing ingredients such as paint, stain, lacquer, or varnish, depending on factors such as wood hardness and surface type
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping by ensuring that all areas of the spray shop are kept
The Ideal Person:
- Previous experience in a similar joinery workshop environment, and should be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of furniture finishing in a manufacturing production environment using all forms of fire retardant lacquers, lacquers, paints and stains.
- Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or working experience.
- Fully experienced in using spraying equipment and maintenance of equipment.
- Must understand and utilise proper and safe operating procedures.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
