Software Test Lead - HSCNI
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000
Are you an experienced Software Tester or Test Lead with a sharp eye for detail and strong coordination skills? Join a high-impact public sector project and play a pivotal role in ensuring reliable, high-quality software solutions that make a real difference to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to processes.
- Coordinate and organise workshops and stakeholder sessions to support project delivery.
- Report on progress, risks, and key testing metrics to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Support project management activities, ensuring smooth collaboration between cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand system requirements and shape testing strategies.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and defect management procedures.
- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of testing results to all stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a software testing role, with team lead or senior tester responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, and lifecycle processes.
- Experience supporting Project Management functions, such as workshop coordination and progress reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the efforts of diverse stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., workflow management tools, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to embed and follow defined processes.
