Software Test Lead - HSCNI

Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to processes.
  • Coordinate and organise workshops and stakeholder sessions to support project delivery.
  • Report on progress, risks, and key testing metrics to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring smooth collaboration between cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to understand system requirements and shape testing strategies.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and defect management procedures.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of testing results to all stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a software testing role, with team lead or senior tester responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect management, and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting Project Management functions, such as workshop coordination and progress reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the efforts of diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., workflow management tools, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to embed and follow defined processes.
