This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland.

Role Overview:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, to specification, and within budget. This is a permanent position, with the initial project based in Carrickfergus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
  • Report directly to senior management, including the Contracts Manager and Project Director.
  • Maintain accurate, consistent, and professional records and reports.
  • Manage and motivate site teams to achieve optimal performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure site safety compliance.
  • Interpret and follow construction drawings and project specifications with precision.
  • Survey sites to identify potential problems and evaluate design feasibility.
  • Organize and coordinate labour resources.
  • Play a key role in contract negotiations with both direct and subcontract staff.
  • Liaise effectively with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.

  • Self-motivated and hardworking, with strong team-building skills.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Relevant 3rd party Health & Safety site management training and certification.
