VANRATH are recruiting a Site Manager to oversee exciting projects in Derry/Londonderry, Tyrone and the surrounding area.

Our client is a leading commercial new build contractor delivering high quality construction projects across Northern Ireland and ROI.

They have a great opportunity for a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the construction site, including sub-contractors, health and safety of personnel, quality, and workmanship of labour
  • Managing and co-ordinating site labour and agency staff
  • Responsible for assisting in the management and day to day running on site activity
  • Assisting with the management of subcontractors, employees and dealing with any issues as and when required
  • Delivery of projects on time and to a high specification
  • Responsible for all document control as an integral part of the project control
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS), policies and procedures

The Ideal Person:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Main Contracting background
  • Numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
  • A full driving licence and relevant site cards
  • Excellent communication skills and good general commercial awareness
  • Deadline driven, instilling motivation in the team to hit key targets
