Location:
Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland (with travel across three main sites)
Salary: £65,000 / €78,000

Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing operations with a passion for delivering high-quality results and streamlining processes? We are seeking a Manager of New Product Introduction (NPI) to join our clients dynamic team and drive innovation in the business. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact while travelling across our clients three main sites in Ireland.



Key Responsibilities

  • Standardise & Optimise Processes: Streamline customer interactions and enhance the NPI life cycle experience, ensuring top-tier SLA adherence for approximately 300-500 product launches annually.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Lead transformative change by standardising workflows, aligning cross-functional teams, and fostering collaboration to achieve measurable results.
  • Customer-Centric Leadership: Oversee onboarding for high-volume, short-timeline projects while maintaining the highest quality standards for design and engineering.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the NPI process and implement Lean Six Sigma practices to optimise operations.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Build and lead highly effective cross-functional teams, balancing competing priorities and driving consensus across the organisation.


Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or related fields.
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
  • 7-10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or service operations, ideally within a highly regulated industry (e.g., medical or pharma).
  • Familiarity with design tools like CAD/CAM or SolidWorks; SAP ERP experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building productive teams and achieving operational goals.


Additional Information

  • Travel: This role requires up to 25-30% travel, primarily across Ireland with occasional international trips.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience in medical device or pharma regulatory landscape is advantageous but not mandatory.
