VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Senior Marketing Executive for a long-term client and leading global law firm.
This is a Monday - Friday position (Permanent)
This role is offering Hybrid Working (3 Days Modern Belfast City Centre office + 2 days Working From Home)

Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist in the business development efforts of the London Finance practice, focusing on Leveraged Finance, Fund Finance, High Yield, and Trade & Commodities Finance (TCF). As the primary point of contact for partners, associates, and Knowledge and Marketing colleagues, you will support projects and initiatives in the High Yield and TCF sectors, building subject matter expertise and strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing directories, pitches, campaigns, events, and handling requests from lawyers.
This will include:
- Pitching and pursuits - working with the Partners and BD Managers to respond to RFPs and client requests for credentials and capability statements. Taking the lead on project management and generating content.
- BD campaigns and thought leadership initiatives - working with the Managers to deliver materials, content and events in support of the product / sector groups' strategies as a route to market to target audiences. This will include managing internal and external communications including social media, event logistics, producing relevant collateral, briefing materials, follow up, budgeting, managing Vuture campaigns and ad-hoc requests as needed.
- Matter capture and credentials - ensuring experience information is regularly and accurately captured for the relevant product and sector groups in the firm's experience system, EPiC and marketing collateral is regularly updated.
- External communications - managing the client alert process (using Vuture) and assist with podcasts, campaigns, seminar programmes, blogs, press releases, social media and other ad hoc thought leadership projects, liaising with colleagues in digital and media communications.
- Directories - co-ordinating the directories and awards submissions for the relevant product and sector groups.
- BD initiatives - supporting the BD Managers and other BD team members, with BD, CRM and marketing initiatives and other inputs as required.
The Ideal Person
- 3-5 years experience within a marketing type role.
- Experience working in a professional services environment (in direct partner contact) is desirable.
- Some exposure to the finance sector is useful and desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication - both written and oral - and inter-personal skills, in order to manage expectations of various stakeholders including partners, legal team members, Business Development etc.
