About the Role:
Our client is a dynamic and innovative engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of crushing, screening, and conveying solutions for global markets. With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, they are seeking a talented Senior Design Engineer to join the team and contribute to the continued success of their business.
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will take the lead on developing innovative solutions, improving product designs, and supporting various internal departments. You'll manage projects from concept through to production, ensuring designs meet high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from initial concept to production, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, purchasing, fabrication, and assembly.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including engineering calculations, CAD drawings, and service manuals.
- Innovate and improve products by applying the latest technologies and staying informed about industry trends.
- Oversee multiple projects, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop creative solutions to enhance products and services.
Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering or significant experience in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of crushing and screening machinery.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and electrical systems awareness.
- Experience in heavy manufacturing and production processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
