Senior Data Analyst

SENIOR DATA ANALYST - BELFAST - HYBRID

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity with one of our large Public Sector Clients. You will be managing the development, production and delivery of complex statistical, qualitative and/or quantitative reports. Interpretation and analysis of information and definition of reporting/information requirements and ensure that the methods of delivery are appropriate.

This role is approx for 9-12 months (possible extension after this), and should be seen as an excellent chance to get your foot in the door for a permanent role or other contracts. It also offers Hybrid working.

• Produce detailed & timely corporate activity reports on a daily, weekly & monthly basis fr distribution to Executive Directors and other senior members of staff.
• Produce reports & analysis to investigate activity trends, data cleaning to ensure accuracy of information provided.
• Undertake analysis of data and produce reports to complete returns to public sector stakeholders as required.
• Communicate complex findings to staff and relevant stakeholders.
• Deliver presentations to senior staff without specialist domain knowledge
• Be responsible for handling multiple, large data sets
• To support strategic planning of projects and programmes to meet objectives.

Salary/Benefits:

£35,400 - £42,600 + Enhanced Holiday Pay + Pension + Discount Benefits

Criteria:

• Degree in either (Computing, Statistics, Information Management or Information Technology) + 1 years Data Analysis experience OR

• 5 years Data Analysis experience & be able to demonstrate experience of information production, report writing or inferential statistics. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Access.
