What you'll do

As a Senior Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts, and minimising credit risk to the company.

  • Maintain the debt ledger across one or more operating entities, ensuring customers adhere to agreed payment terms
  • Process customer payments accurately and promptly
  • Proactively resolve price mismatches, quantity disputes, and promotional invoice queries
  • Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments and resolve any queries
  • Collaborate with the sales team on held orders due to customers reaching their credit limits or having overdue debt
  • Raise credit notes with appropriate authorisation and maintain detailed account notes for reporting
  • Provide cover for colleagues as needed
  • Assist the management team with ad hoc requests

About you

  • At least 3 years credit control experience
  • Previous FMCG experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with team members and senior stakeholders
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet with demands
