£27,897 - £28,483 per annum | Belfast | 4-Month Contract

Job Description:
A leading public services organisation in Belfast is seeking a Temporary Senior Casework Officer to join their team on a four-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by managing and assessing complaints under established legal frameworks.

The Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Assess complaints in line with relevant legislation, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide advice and assistance to service users and stakeholders, including public bodies and elected representatives.
  • Manage caseloads effectively, meeting performance targets and deadlines.
  • Analyse complex information to make evidence-based decisions and communicate findings clearly.
  • Support investigations by gathering material, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate case records.
  • Contribute to team development by identifying trends and suggesting process improvements.


The Ideal Candidate:

Applicants must demonstrate the following:

  • A-level standard education (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a busy administrative or customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in using case handling systems and Microsoft Office tools to produce detailed reports.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.


Desirable:

  • Experience interpreting legislation or policy frameworks to inform decision-making.
