What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the Accounts Payable process
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely monthly payment runs
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate variances
- Process internal departmental invoices and allocate costs accurately
- Review and analyse employee expense claims
- Produce monthly KPI reports to support informed decision-making
- Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with deadlines
- Support the completion of month-end processes
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Conduct stock reconciliations and contribute to stock control and reporting
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required
About you
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within an Accounts Payable role
- Previous experience within FMCG
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
