VANRATH are delighted to be working with a public sector employer in Antrim who are recruiting a Senior Accountant to join their team for an initial timeframe of 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large public sector employer who provide an essential service to the local communities.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant will take responsibility of leading a small finance team in their daily tasks, along with having responsibility for presenting the financial results to the senior management team.
Interviewing immediately.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 5+ years PQE
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- IT literate including strong reporting skills
- Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Available at short notice
What you'll do
- Investigate variances against budget and provide analysis of differences
- Provide accurate and timely management accounts and management information
- Assist in the preparation of forecasts & annual budgets
- Preparation for and complete the year end audit files
