School Bus Driver

We are currently partnering with a public sector client to recruit School Bus Drivers. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to support the safe transportation of children, including those with mobility challenges and special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport children to and from school or other authorized locations.
• Assist children with mobility issues in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• Operate safety equipment, such as lifts, and ensure the proper securing of wheelchairs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out routine maintenance checks.
• Report any incidents or behavioral issues to the Transport Officer.

Essential Criteria:

• Full Category D driving license.
• Valid driver qualification card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving buses with 17 seats or more.
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience using wheelchair-accessible vehicles and related safety aids.
