Job Description

Vanrath is excited to collaborate with a premier provider of top-tier equipment for environmental research. This esteemed company is involved in the installation, rental, and repair of the equipment. We are seeking to add a skilled Sales Engineer to the team.

The successful candidate will be based in their Bangor office with occasional field-based travel required (likely 1 day per week).

There will be hybrid working being offered, however, roughly the first three months will be fully office-based for training purposes.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible hours available)

Salary
£35,000 - £45,000 + Use of vehicle + expenses

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our sales team as a Sales Engineer. The role involves enhancing existing sales performance and developing new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and be skilled in generating sales through campaigns, customer relationship development, and exploring new markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries
  • Generate sales and service quotations
  • Manage customer relationships (CRM)
  • Develop and manage sales campaigns
  • Visit customers (both on-site and in-office) to understand project needs and provide solutions
  • Oversee marketing activities and create graphics

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in environmental monitoring
  • Strong sales and marketing experience
  • Proven track record in technical sales
  • Experience in social media marketing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite
  • CRM experience
  • Possession of a CSR or CSCS card
