Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Rare Opp - Progression Role

VANRATH are partnering with the UKs most revolutionary Infrastructure focusedthat is changing the charging Fibre infrastructure throughout NI. This company is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor.

Office is based in Coalisland - Permanent position - Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

• Manage QS/Commercial Assistants as the project evolves in size * Responsible for evaluations of utilities civils contract as principle contractor

• Collect and Review worksheets completed by sub-contractor & employees sent in on weekly basis.

• Preparation and submission of weekly progress claims to client. Valuations to be agreed with Client QS representative on a bi-weekly basis.

• Support the preparation and submission of project variations, in line with contract timelines.

• Review and sign off sub-contractor invoices to be passed to accounts for payment.

• Preparation and submission of client Final Accounts.

• Daily liaising with on field supervisors and site teams.

• Meet project deliverables on time and with emphasis on quality.

• Attending and providing commercial input to weekly internal meetings, with emphasis on budget monitoring.

Essential Criteria

• Significant relevant experience in a similar role
• Qualified Surveyor qualification preferred, however will consider someone with significant relevant experience within the industry
