Quantity Surveyor
Are you looking for a Quantity Surveyor role? Interested in working for a leading consultancy that deliver on contemporary and heritage projects?

Due to organic growth VANRATH are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to work on exciting architectural projects in Belfast and across Northern Ireland.

Overview of Role:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for construction projects from inception to completion; pre and post contract duties will include:

• Liaise with client, contractors, suppliers to ensure information, costs, profitability and value, meet the requirements of each project.
• Cost planning.
• Contractual administration of both NEC and JCT Standard Forms
• Tender and Bill of Quantities Production.
• Value Engineering.
• Preparation of monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, valuation and agreement of final accounts.
• Undertake the preparation and processing of quotations.
• Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project.
• Local project work with limited travel

The Ideal Person:

• Prior pre and post contract experience as a construction QS role working on major projects
• 5 years post qualification experience
• Strong understanding of construction contract conditions
• Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent qualification
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and database software
