VANRATH are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to oversee exciting fit-out projects, across Northern Ireland, the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Our client is a leading innovative fit-out contractor delivering high quality specialist projects across Northern Ireland, the UK and Republic of Ireland. This business is renowned for its exciting projects and personal, hands-on style.

They have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing leading fit-out projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating and appointing sub-contractors to schemes, managing sub-contractor package's through from appointment to final account
  • The submission of all valuations and variations on schemes
  • Building close working relationship with Contracts Manager's and Site teams to deliver quality projects
  • Identifying cost issues
  • Identifying risks
  • Aiding with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities
  • Responsibility for order of materials and services
  • Act as a point of contacts for clients


The Ideal Person:

  • Quantity Surveyor or other related qualification
  • Experience in a similar role
  • A full driving licence
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise and work to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
  • Proficient IT skills
