The practice is seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified By Experience (QBE) Accountant to join the team. This role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available. As a QBE Accountant, you will manage your own client portfolio, providing expert financial advice and ensuring high standards of service. You will also have the opportunity to review and mentor junior staff, contributing to their professional development and the overall success of the practice.
What you will do:
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, handling accounting, tax, and advisory needs.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
- Provide insightful financial advice and solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Oversee and review the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.
What you will have:
- Proven experience as an accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- QBE status, with relevant experience in managing client portfolios
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
