The ideal candidate will have a wealth of practical accounting knowledge, gained through hands-on experience, and be comfortable handling a variety of financial tasks. What you will do:


  • Client Accounts Management:
    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations.

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and other reports as required.

  • Tax Compliance:
    • Support the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.

  • Client Liaison:
    • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing clear and concise financial advice.

  • Support to Senior Accountants:
    • Work closely with senior accountants and other team members to ensure the smooth delivery of services and client satisfaction.


What you will have:


  • Qualifications:
    • Qualified by Experience (QBE) with substantial experience in accounting roles.

  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in an accountancy practice or similar financial environment.

  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
