They are seeking a Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience to join the dynamic team. This role involves preparing accounts for a varied client base including Ltd companies, sole traders, and charities. You will also bring your audit experience to the table and play a key role in mentoring and training junior staff members.


What you will do:

  • Preparation of Accounts:
    • Prepare accurate financial statements for Ltd companies, sole traders, and charitable organisations.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Audit Experience:
    • Conduct and assist with audits for a range of clients, ensuring thoroughness and adherence to audit standards.
    • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues found during audits.
  • Mentoring and Training:
    • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Offer support and feedback to help develop the team's capabilities.
  • Client Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering high-quality service.
    • Address any client queries or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Software Utilisation:
    • Use QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage and process financial data efficiently.
    • Stay updated with the latest software updates and best practices.


What you will have:

  • Qualifications:
    • ACA, ACCA, qualified or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in preparing accounts for Ltd companies, sole traders, and charities.
    • Solid audit experience with a thorough understanding of audit processes.
  • Skills:
    • Strong mentoring and training abilities with a passion for developing others.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
