Role Summary
The AAA team are looking for a newly qualified accountant with at least one year of post-qualification experience to join the growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who holds full accounts preparation capabilities, enjoys reviewing work, and has a passion for mentoring junior team members. The role offers a diverse mix of statutory and management accounting responsibilities, providing exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.

What you will do:

• Accounts Preparation:
  • Take full responsibility for the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Prepare management accounts, providing insightful analysis and commentary to clients.
• Review Work:
  • Review the work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and providing constructive feedback.
  • Oversee bookkeeping and accounts work, ensuring consistency and quality across the team.
• Team Mentorship:
  • Support the development of junior team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Client Interaction:
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Sector Variety:
  • Work across a broad range of sectors including corporate clients, public sector entities, and SMEs.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing both statutory and management accounting services.

What you will have:

• Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.Strong experience in accounts preparation and review.
• Previous experience mentoring or managing junior staff is desirable.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
