Job Title: QA Contractor

Location: Belfast (Hybrid, 2 days in office)

Contract: 6 months (potential extension)

Day Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)

Start Date: Immediate

Work with a leading global FinTech firm in Belfast, ensuring the quality and performance of large-scale financial systems.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a QA Contractor with strong SQL skills, experience handling large datasets, and proficiency in Linux. You will be responsible for testing and validating complex systems in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for large-scale datasets
  • Write complex SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity
  • Work with Linux environments to perform system tests and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality releases

Required Skills:

  • Strong SQL skills, with experience in querying and validating large datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Linux for system testing and debugging
  • Familiarity with QA processes and tools for manual and automated testing
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in the FinTech sector
  • Knowledge of data validation in large, complex systems
