We're working with a leading name in the food production sector, and they're on the lookout for a Production Team Leader who's ready to take ownership, inspire a team, and keep operations running like clockwork.
You'll be at the forefront of a busy manufacturing environment, making real-time decisions that keep quality high and downtime low. It's a role for someone who's cool under pressure, confident in leading from the front, and ready to step into a key role on site.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading a production team across day and night shifts, keeping them focused, motivated, and working safely at all times.
  • Acting as the go-to person on shift-solving problems, making decisions, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Ensuring your team hits production targets while keeping waste to a minimum.
  • Driving high standards through coaching, clear communication, and smart delegation.
  • Keeping a close eye on performance, recording key metrics and maintaining compliance.
  • Playing a big part in team training and development-you'll help shape a high-performing, knowledgeable crew.
  • Supporting continuous improvement across the shop floor, always looking for ways to do things better.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a food production or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • A solid understanding of KPIs and what it takes to deliver against them.
  • Comfortable with systems and confident using Microsoft Office tools like Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills-you're clear, calm and direct, both on the shop floor and when reporting to management.
  • A proactive mindset-you don't wait for instructions; you take the lead.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety and a real commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Why this role?

  • Join a globally recognised food manufacturer with strong values and a people-first culture.
  • Enjoy a competitive salary plus bonus opportunities.
  • Access enhanced holidays, family-friendly policies, and a range of wellbeing benefits including a health cash plan and Employee Assistance Program.
  • Get involved in regular employee engagement events, social activities, and team incentives.
