Personal Assistant - Lisburn
Job Description
VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of a Personal Assistant to join their team based in Lisburn.
This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.
Salary
£25,147 per annum, plus benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Draft letters, manage emails, and maintain records.
- Organise diaries and ensure readiness for meetings.
- Prepare documents and reports using Microsoft Office.
- Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organise meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions.
- Supervise and delegate work to junior staff.
- Manage office systems, filing, and supplies.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and verify invoices.
- Provide hospitality for visitors and events.
Essential Criteria
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Math.
- 2+ years of administrative/secretarial experience, including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving license (or equivalent transportation if unable to drive).
Desirable Skills
- Word/Text Processing certification.
- Ability to take minutes, delegate tasks, and use initiative.
