VANRATH are assisting our client, a prestigious further educational organisation, based in Belfast are recruiting a Payroll Officer to join their team on an initial contract for 3 months. If this sounds like it might be of interest to you, please apply for more information.
Essential Criteria
If you have 2+ years working in a Payroll environment:
- Possess 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
- Experience with Microsoft Office primarily Excel and Word.
- Experience in processing remuneration payments and other entitlements.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Process and manage monthly payroll.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and within financial procedures.
- Check and input data to ensure payrolls are accurately paid.
- Develop and maintain an up to date working knowledge of HMRC PAYE and Payroll Processes guidance and regulations.
- Respond to email, telephone and face to face queries.
- Any other administrative duties as required.
