Essential Criteria

If you have 2+ years working in a Payroll environment:

  • Possess 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office primarily Excel and Word.
  • Experience in processing remuneration payments and other entitlements.

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Process and manage monthly payroll.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and within financial procedures.
  • Check and input data to ensure payrolls are accurately paid.
  • Develop and maintain an up to date working knowledge of HMRC PAYE and Payroll Processes guidance and regulations.
  • Respond to email, telephone and face to face queries.
  • Any other administrative duties as required.
