What you'll do
The primary duties of this position include:

  • Oversee daily operations of the parts team, including performance management, conducting probationary reviews, appraisals, and managing absences.
  • Coach and develop team members by identifying training needs and ensuring these are addressed.
  • Manage stock inventory, coordinate stock checks, and resolve discrepancies while ensuring stock health.
  • Handle parts sales, both in-person and over the phone, ensuring customer demands are met and correct solutions are provided.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, focusing on growing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities for parts sales.
  • Develop and expand the online parts sales presence.
  • Create and maintain pricing support for parts cases and coordinate with JCB on current promotions, working closely with the internal marketing team.
  • Allocate key customers to the parts team and track progress on parts sales.
  • Analyse parts sales spend and prepare reports on performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote best practices within the aftersales department.
