The Role
The firm are seeking a dedicated Part-Qualified Accountant with practice experience to join the team. This role requires you to work in the office five days a week, providing crucial accounting support and contributing to the continued success of our clients and practice. As a key team member, you will be involved in various accounting tasks, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.


What you will do:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support the completion of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
  • Conduct audits and assist in audit planning and execution.
  • Provide bookkeeping and payroll services to clients.
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support in managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and reports.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.


Your Experience and Skills
Essential Criteria:

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a practice environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
