Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of a small finance team
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• Management of assets and liabilities including monthly balance sheet reconciliations of key accounts
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to forecast performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial controls.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business performance.
• Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or part-qualified with at least 5 years in an accounts environment
• Strong background in the preparation of management accounts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills: experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
