Junior Python Developer | £45k + 15-20% Bonus | Fully Remote (NI)
VANRATH are exclusively working on behalf of an exciting and innovative cyber security company, hiring a Junior Python Developer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer with 1-2 years' experience to enhance their skills while solving real-world problems.

Role Overview:


As a Junior Python Developer, you will be responsible for using Python scripting to develop and maintain solutions, working closely with APIs to solve technical challenges for the company's diverse range of customers. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a passion for tackling complex issues and thinking creatively to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate processes and solve client-specific challenges.
  • Work with APIs to integrate and enhance product functionality.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and help deliver tailored solutions.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and offer innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Python development.
  • Experience with Java.
  • Ability to work with APIs and scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Customer-facing experience is a plus, with a proactive attitude to resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
