Title: HR Officer
Location: Omagh
Salary: 30-35k
Contract: Permanent

The Human Resources Officer is responsible for overseeing the HR function within a fast-paced retail environment. This role ensures compliance with employment legislation, manages HR policies and procedures and provides support to staff and management on all HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and management.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and best HR practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including onboarding.
  • Support performance management and employee appraisals.
  • Assist in coordinating staff training and development initiatives.
  • Advise management on HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote fair employment practices and workplace equality.
  • Monitor and report on HR metrics to support business objectives.
  • Support health and safety compliance within HR-related areas.
  • Stay updated on employment legislation and HR trends.


Qualifications & Experience Required

  • CIPD or HR related qualification
  • Previous experience in an HR role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and IT systems.
