VANRATH is exclusively partnering with a leading NI organisation, with the appointment of a brand new HRBP role.

The Role

The HR Business Partner will assist the Head of HR in providing the most efficient and effective HR Service to the site.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the recruitment of staff on multiple sites in the UK and Ireland which involves preparing job adverts, reviewing application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
  • Preparing job descriptions
  • Preparing Contracts of employment
  • Reviewing personnel records
  • Induction Training
  • Arranging for training and renewal of same with outsourced providers for all relevant departments
  • Assist with probationary reviews for new staff and annual staff performance reviews with all departments
  • Developing and implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management;
  • Updating Company Handbook;
  • Interpreting and advising on employment law;
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
  • Developing HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements;
  • Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
  • Time and Attendance System
  • Preparation of annual Fair Employment and Monitoring Return.
  • Review of annual leave policies and procedures
  • Assist with and oversee payroll processing on a monthly basis.

The Person

  • 3rd Level Qualification in HR or a relevant subject
  • CIPD Qualified
  • At least 3 year's working at a similar level in a fast paced commercial setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
