All Ireland Role

VANRATH is partnering with a leading professional services business, with the appointment of an all-Ireland HRBP.
The Business Partner will lead the HR agenda within various Professional Services disciplines, and drive the people strategy and support organisational goals through building cohesive relationships balanced with a keen understanding of business and commercial needs.
You will partner with Business Unit Heads to foster a dynamic, fast-paced environment that appropriately rewards, retains, and develops a diverse and inclusive workforce within a focused, high-performance culture.
The HRBP will be the sole internal-facing HR contact within the island of Ireland offices, in addition to being one of a small cohort of HRBPs servicing other professional disciplines within England and Scotland.
You will therefore need to be willing and experienced in handling matters both face-to-face and via Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Unit Heads to ensure operational and financial goals are met through effective cyclical people plans and ongoing, effective people management
- Provide professional, proactive HR support and advice to managers and team members
- Understand and apply organisational and individual change management for your parts of the business, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams and HR team colleagues to improve and deliver consistently high-quality people programmes, policies, processes, and systems that work well across the entire organisation
- Support others in order for them to successfully balance business, community focus, team, and individual needs
- Manage employee relations' cases such as probationary reviews, performance management, absence, capability, grievance, and disciplinary matters
- Provide essential education, training, and development on organisational-wide people practices
The Person
- CIPD or similar professional HR qualification
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting different stakeholder groups within a professionally focused client environment
- Pre- and/or post- Mergers & Acquisitions' experience
- Confident and competent in change management, organisational development, and workforce planning
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively when actively supporting organisationally driven people solutions within a changing environment
- Commercial mindset and business acumen
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation across both jurisdictions on the island of Ireland, north and south
- Able to take responsibility for instructing and verifying multiple payroll components
- Experience in handling employee relations cases
- An empathetic and ethical approach when addressing people-related matters
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for addressing ambiguous challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driving licence and car to travel between offices
- Attention to accurate and up-to-date record keeping
This role requires travel to office locations across the island of Ireland and on an ad hoc basis to our offices within Scotland and England.
