VANRATH are partnering with our valued manufacturing client in the search for a HR Assistant to join their HR function to cover a period of Maternity for up to 12 months.

This will be a great opportunity for a junior HR professional to step into a busy HR function with great development opportunities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Act as a contact point for employees and visitors.
  • Assist with recruitment, testing, interviews and documentation.
  • Compile and summarise confidential information for reports.
  • Handle assigned HR projects and report any issues.
  • Manage HR systems, extract and analyse data for reports.
  • Support company health, well-being and social responsibility initiatives.
  • Take notes during senior management and HR meetings.

About you:

  • 3rd level qualification and/or CIPD Qualification
  • Minimum of one years experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience within an engineering manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in an HR role
  • Experience in using PAMS and NorthTime Pro
