Job Title: HR Advisor
Location: Belfast (City Centre)
Salary: 30-32k
Duration: Full Time / Permanent / No WFH

You will provide advice and guidance to the client's line management on transactional HR issues, including policies and procedures and employee relations matters. To undertake workplace investigations and provide a HR Service on a wide variety of HR related initiatives.


What you'll do:

  • Acting sensitively towards clients, proactively structuring case investigations through to report documentation and closure.
  • Adhering to case escalation protocols as directed by client HR.
  • Contributing to the Cases and Precedents databases as needed.
  • Ensuring quality and timeliness of case management in Equal Opportunities, Discipline and Grievance, Employment Tribunals, Performance Appeals, and external complaints.
  • Leading and supporting HR initiatives relevant to own expertise across client organisations.
  • Participating in training, coaching, CPD, and setting personal objectives.
  • Providing HR and Employee Relations case management according to legislation, policies, and best practice.
  • Reporting regularly on case progress to the Manager, escalating service issues when needed.
  • Supervising work of others as required.


About you:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR role
  • Experience of providing professional HR advice and guidance on Employee Relations matters.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of employment law and best practice HR.
  • Practical and demonstrable experience of taking a lead in investigating cases covering discipline, dignity at work or grievance's
