Job Description

This role is based is Hybrid working - 3 days at home and 2 days in Belfast Office (Dargan Crescent). Permanent - Monday - Friday position.

Responsibilities:

This individual will lead the overall design & development, planning, scheduling of the Food & Beverage Leadership Strategy ensuring all key initiatives best represent the Commercial Plan and Brand Strategies. The role will work closely with the NI leadership team and will involve rolling out various programmes. The role sits within the wider trading / buying team.

  • Lead the overall design & development, planning, scheduling of the Food & Beverage Leadership Strategy ensuring all key initiatives best represent our Commercial Plan and Brand Strategies.
  • Facilitate coordination across all programme's initiatives, and functions and be the key point of contact for Food & Beverage Leadership Strategy.
  • Lead the Trading Team to deliver long and shorter-term category strategies that enable the delivery of Food & Beverage Leadership Strategy, ensuring all stakeholders have clear direction and are clear on their role in delivery of this strategy
  • Track and report on progress/activities across the programme & initiatives to ensure all stakeholders (Retail Management Team, Executive Team and key stakeholders) are regularly updated
  • Working with Sales & Marketing colleagues ensure the planned & efficient implementation of all initiatives.
  • Support new ways of working in relation to mission based & segmentation data approaches that drive more consumer and commercially led offer development across the business.
  • Represent Trading on key Forums and at retailer engagement sessions - Steering, Retailer Councils.
  • Contribute to Strategic Brand Projects

Key Relationship Building

  • Be a key point of contact and link to all workstream leads.
  • Support interaction with our Retailers
  • Work closely with the MNI Commercial Team, as well as other business' who can support overall strategy delivery.

The Ideal Person:

  • Experienced in leading and delivery large complex programmes.
  • Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
  • Experienced in connecting to and working with mid and senior management positions.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders and manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously
