VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland's largest charities, with the appointment of a newly created Head of Learning & Development post.

The Head of L&D is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the ongoing professional growth of employees.

You will work closely with the senior management team to align L&D initiatives with organisational goals and ensure that staff are equipped with the right knowledge and skill to enable them to perform their role.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • To development the Learning and Development strategy in conjunction with the Director of HR & L&D.

L&D Delivery

  • To ensure that all development programmes uphold the principles and values of the organisation and to be responsible for ensuring that all courses or training programmes are up to date and compliant with quality, regulatory and other governance standards and requirements.
  • To lead on the creation and development of a robust management and leadership development programme for the organisation.

Continuous Improvement

  • To review the effectiveness of L&D services
  • To seek opportunities to enhance L&D service delivery through effective use of modern delivery methods and maximise technology in the delivery of programmes.



The Person

  • Relevant Professional Qualification
  • At least 5 years' experience in training delivery and management
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing L&D strategies in line with organisational priorities
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Strong project management and LMS skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills to drive performance and measurable output.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate thinking clearly to others
  • Highly initiative driven and creative in approach to solving problems

£40,700 - £53, 553.

Hybrid 2 days from home

27 days AL

13 weeks full sick pay
