The Head of Finance will be responsible for working closely with the senior management team to ensure the overall success of the business, along with ensuring achievement of the business objectives and results. The Head of Finance will be a strong communicator, with excellent commercial experience, as the business are continually looking for ways to improve, whether that be from a system overhaul, or improvement in processes. Joining a stable team, the Head of Finance will be given full autonomy over the financial operations of the business and will involve management of the team, along with identifying commercial opportunities for the business.
Initially this is an interim role as it is a newly created business within the team, and there will be the opportunity to secure a permanent contract, based on performance. A unique opportunity to join a successful business who are at the beginning of their journey.

About you
- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years' experience in senior leadership roles
- FMCG/Manufacturing experience (desirable)
- Commercial acumen, with an ability to influence and persuade
- People management experience, with a focus on successfully motivating team members
- Strong communication skills, interacting with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment, while maintaining high standards
What you'll do
- Monthly management accounts production, including all month end journals and reconciliations
- Responsibility for supporting Accounts Payable & Receivable, and Payroll departments
- Building detailed P&L for each department
- Financial modelling
- Ad hoc reporting (Areas on cost, cash flow, balance sheet & forecasting)
- Management of wider team, ensuring completion of tasks in line with agreed timescales
- Project Accounting
