About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Fire Alarm and CCTV Engineer to join the growing team of a leading security solutions provider. Our client specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire alarm and CCTV systems for commercial and industrial properties. Key Duties:

  • System Installation: Install fire alarm systems and CCTV cameras, ensuring compliance with industry standards and meeting client requirements.
  • System Commissioning: Set up and commission new installations, ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and testing of fire alarm and CCTV systems to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm and CCTV systems, delivering swift and effective technical solutions.
  • Client Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of installations, services, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm and CCTV systems.
  • Strong understanding of system components, wiring, and configuration for fire alarms and CCTV.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
