Financial Controller (Exclusive/Belfast/4 day week)
VANRATH are delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative scaling business at the forefront of their industry to recruit a commercially astute Financial Controller. The business is renowned for its innovation and has a strong commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, reporting to the CFO the Financial Controller will be pivotal in driving financial strategy and the day to day management of the finance team.

The Role:
- Lead and direct a small finance team, including financial and management accounting processes, P&L and Balance Sheet review, and variance analysis.
- Preparation of consolidated accounts for presentation to the Board and senior stakeholders.
- Oversee monthly reporting and communication of results to all stakeholders.
- Drive business improvement and support this through the provision of accurate and timely financial information
- Provide support to commercial decision-making processes and business development.
- Ensure annual planning and budgeting process is delivered on time and matched to delivery of strategic objectives.
- Manage the audit process and deal with any tax queries
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 4-5 years PQE in a senior finance position
- Proven management experience gained within a fast paced commercial environment.
- Evidence of comfort and familiarity dealing with senior stakeholders.
