VANRATH are delighted to be working with a global manufacturing organisation for the appointment of a commercially astute Finance Manager initially for a period of 12 months. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for developing the finance function and take ownership of the monthly reporting including cost management & profitability analysis.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Manufacturing experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

What you'll do

• Financial reporting and financial analysis for communication to leadership team
• Monthly management accounts production and budgets, forecasts, and audits support and preparation
• Ensure product profit margins are reviewed every month to identify low-margin orders in the month and/or trends over time of low margin products and customers
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Cost and inventory management
• Cash management and planning
• CAPEX and Fixed Asset Management
• Credit Management
• Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts
• Assist with management of the annual audit
• Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
