Job Description


VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a client in Comber to recruit a Finance Administrator to join their team.

As part of a small, dedicated accounts team, and reporting to both the General Manager and Company Accountant, the role involves managing accounts up to the Trial Balance stage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily banking operations, including online banking activities, posting, and reconciliation.
- Manage the ledger during month-end processes.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with digital tax submissions.
- Perform month-end reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain and update pricelists.
- Update and manage information on the company website.
- Handle invoicing and billing tasks.
- Provide general office support, including covering for the sales administrator during absences.

About you:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and functions.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly advanced skills in MS Office.
- Excellent communication abilities, comfortable interacting with staff and suppliers at all levels.
- Experience with Sage 200 or similar accounting software.
