About the Role:
Our client is a leading FMCG company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services. They are committed to innovation, safety, and sustainability. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the electrical systems and equipment. You will perform regular maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and work on improvements to enhance the reliability and performance of the facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and modifications.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including equipment upgrades and new installations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
