Digital Project Manager

VANRATH are recruiting for a Digital Project Manager for our client based in Lisburn. This Project Manager role will run initially for 6 months (with possibility of extension) and needs an experienced candidate with demonstrable track record who is responsible for tasks involved in completing multiple Finance and Payroll system projects.

This is an immediate requirement, and the successful candidate will be available to start asap.

Project: New Finance and Payroll systems to enable service improvement.

Remuneration:

£24.58 ph to 30th March & £25.26 ph from 31st March onwards) , plus holiday pay, pension.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare business cases and project documents for ICT infrastructure projects
  • Lead the technical aspects of ICT projects, providing technical expertise and support for non-ICT projects and changes were appropriate.
  • Identify and take actions to manage ICT related risks.
  • Design and implement short and long term plans to ensure ICT infrastructure meets existing and future capacity and capacity requirements.
  • Develop, implement, manage and maintain the ICT infrastructure via third party providers including server and network configuration, security, accessibility, connectivity, and backup.
  • Maintain a Hardware Asset Register detailing ICT equipment used and keep up to date for audit and insurance purposes. Ensure a register of software licences is also maintained.
  • Develop procedures and associated implementation, testing and training plans for infrastructure administration, security and data management.

The Ideal Person:

  • Relevant IT or Business related third level qualification with technical components.
  • At least two years' experience of managing the performance of a team.
  • Project Management Accreditation- Prince II, APM or Agile
  • Experience of taking lead responsibility for managing multiple IT projects
  • Valid driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle to undertake the duties of the post in full.
