VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large and well-known Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of a Digital Marketing Communications Officer to join their team based in Newtownabbey.
This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.
Temporary contract for Maternity Cover. Expected to last a minimum of 7 months.

£35,132 per annum, plus benefits.
The Digital Marketing Communications Officer will implement the organisation's Digital Communication Strategy by managing its online presence and driving engagement across social media and websites.
Responsibilities:
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube), including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
- Develop engaging content (video, graphics, editorial) for campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
- Plan and manage paid social media and Google ad campaigns, including budgets and performance tracking.
- Collaborate on and evaluate digital marketing campaigns across teams.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, identifying trends to improve strategy.
- Provide training and guidance on social media best practices to staff and stakeholders.
- Capture photography and video for digital platforms, including event coverage.
- Ensure compliance with branding, policy, and legal requirements.
Essential Critera:
- HND or equivalent qualification (or 3 years of relevant experience).
- 2 years of digital marketing experience, including campaign planning and content creation.
- Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
- Full driving license or equivalent means of transport.
Desirable Critera:
- Experience with Google Analytics, CMS, or B2C marketing.
