SUMMARY
The Equip Programme is a large and complex regional transformation programme. It has been established on behalf of HSC to procure and implement a single integrated cloud solution to replace the current Finance, Procurement and Logistics, Human Resources, Pay and Travel Management systems.

With over 76,000 employees impacted by the implementation of the new system, working across 16 different HSC organisations, this is currently one of the largest and most complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations in the UK across the public sector.

Under the direction of the Senior Project Manager (Data Migration), the post holder will be responsible for data migration activities, including analysing, extracting, and formatting of systems data in order to bring that data into replacement systems.

The post holder will:
  • Be responsible for the setup and configuration of the data migration environment and associated tooling.
  • Be responsible for extracting, improving, enriching, profiling, harmonising, transforming, loading, testing, and organising validation of systems data.

Work closely with the integrations team, application teams, testing and technical teams to ensure that data outputs meet the expectations of end users.
Identify and escalate risks associated with technical data migration tasks and issues to be resolved from the appropriate governance forums

A university degree or professional qualification, relevant to ICT and worked for at least 3 years in a data migration or similar role that had a major element of analysing, extracting, and formatting data from a variety of systems

OR
Have at least 4 years' experience in a data migration or similar role that had a major element of analysing, extracting, and formatting data from a variety of systems
