Customer Service Rep - Belfast - Immediate Start - Progression

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major growing sustainability client with the Recruitment of an Experienced Customer Service Rep to join a fun and friendly team based in Belfast City Centre.

Salary - £26,500 - £30,000

Hours - 08:30-17:00

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of sales administration, including managing inbound sales inquiries and handling new customer onboarding.
  • Generate electronic sales and production orders.
  • Calculate required material quantities and prepare purchase orders as needed.
  • Price sales orders based on established customer pricing structures.
  • Maintain and manage controlled documents and ensure accurate upkeep of specification documents.
  • Monitor stock levels to meet customer needs and production requirements.
  • Participate in production meetings to align with customer service requirements.
  • Manage customer service workflows and maintain customer forecasts.
  • Provide requested information to customers, such as stock reports.
  • Attend customer visits, both on-site and off-site, as required.
  • Address customer inquiries directly, resolving issues confidently and effectively.
  • Escalate customer issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain to ensure smooth operations.
  • Resolve invoice-related queries.
  • Meet monthly targets in line with agreed profit margins.
  • Ensure accuracy in customer service data for management reporting purposes.
  • Work closely with the Accounts team to facilitate precise reporting.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.
  • Experience in customer account management.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Minimum educational qualification: GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow detailed processes and procedures.
  • Proactive, with the ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment, maintaining standards while meeting production schedules.
  • Flexible, with a willingness to work cross-functionally within the team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills for building and sustaining key stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel proficiency.
