What you'll do
As a Senior Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts, and minimising credit risk to the company.
- Maintain the debt ledger across one or more operating entities, ensuring customers adhere to agreed payment terms
- Process customer payments accurately and promptly
- Proactively resolve price mismatches, quantity disputes, and promotional invoice queries
- Communicate with customers to ensure prompt payments and resolve any queries
- Collaborate with the sales team on held orders due to customers reaching their credit limits or having overdue debt
- Raise credit notes with appropriate authorisation and maintain detailed account notes for reporting
- Provide cover for colleagues as needed
- Assist the management team with ad hoc requests
About you
- At least 3 years credit control experience
- Previous FMCG experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with team members and senior stakeholders
- Adaptable and flexible to meet with demands
