What you'll do

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile them
  • Update the cashbook daily and perform bank reconciliations
  • Prepare bank lodgements and direct debit files
  • Issue invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Monitor and manage outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely follow-up and collection
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain a record of all communication regarding payments and credit with customers
  • Set up new customers and maintain the customer master file
  • Provide support with various other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach

About you

If you've previous experience of working as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant and have:

  • Strong Accounts Admin experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to met deadlines
  • Strong team working ability
